From the Council:

The annual summer high speed roads maintenance programme is now underway and over the next few weeks Solutions SK Operatives will be undertaking works at various sites across the borough including litter picking, grass cutting, tree pruning, carriageway / drainage and barrier repairs, road markings and street lighting repairs. The works will involve placement of temporary traffic management to protect the operatives whilst they undertake their individual tasks.

The works will be carried out as follows

25/07 – 26/07 A34 between Eden Place Roundabout and Schools Hill Roundabout, temporary lane closures over Saturday and Sunday 7:00am – 5:00pm

29/07 – 30/07 Crookilley Way between M60 scissors junction 26 and Portwood Roundabout one way westbound traffic only overnight 10:00pm – 5:00am

01/08 – 02/08 A34 between Schools Hill Roundabout and the Manchester boundary, temporary lane closures over Saturday and Sunday 7:00am – 5:00pm
